Appearance

Jibril rarely presents herself as anything less than beautiful, but she never quite seems to have that radiant exotic drop-dead-gorgeousness that other Shen'Ihr have. While she changes her outward appearance at seemingly random, she'll usually have messy blonde hair and bright green eyes.

Powers

Jibril is a mage (which is really the center of most of her problems) and her powers are focused upon the manipulation of energy. She has an assortment of spells that can drain life and exhaust others. She's also an accomplished master of disguise, and has become quite skilled at concealing herself and subtly changing her form.

Biography

Jibril was born to a non-descript and average Shen'Ihr family on one of the many colony worlds. Her psionic powers were weak (and have long since atrophied to near-uselessness) but she seemed to be happy and healthy. Her parents didn't worry much. The course of her life was abruptly changed, however, when her parents were killed in an unfortunate "accident" involving a small transport vehicle, stray police fire, and several members of an unpopular native "cult". Terrribly complicated. Very messy. No visible survivors... but the "cult" members had teleported themselves away, with Jibril accidentally in tow.

The little girl was unharmed, and the "cult" members had every intention of turning her over to the proper authorities. But one thing lead to another, a few days became a few weeks, and bright young Jibril had learned far too much. It seemed she had an aptitude for magic. To bring her back would leave her and the Guild in mortal peril. So they kept her and raised her and instructed her in "dark" arts. They were really far more of a native magic guild forced underground, than anything truly wicked and evil.

When Jibril was just about to hit womanhood, the Inquisition finally found time to come pay the colony a visit. And what a den of sin and corruption and magic it was! It was a matter of weeks before the guild was utterly destroyed. Jibril and a few other members managed to escape the planet and head for greener, less Inquisitional pastures. She spent quite some time travelling, hopping from planet to planet with an ever-dwindling company of survivors. Her last stop, despite her better judgement, has taken her to Earth.

Jibril's time has mostly been spent enjoying herself, and playacting at being human. For as much as she enjoys the liberty of a planet where magic isn't a capital offense, some residual paranoia remains. Although she fully has the intention of studying and improving herself, she's not all that disciplined much of the time.
