:The mandatory casting time is still always required. However, when a mage has this technique, it's to be assumed that they've done the preparation for a spell at some previous point. The mandatory casting time is still always required. However, when a mage has this technique, it's to be assumed that they've done the preparation for a spell at some previous point. So essentially, they get one 'freebie' per scene, with the prep done in the background, not unlike PT is. Hroefn T 20:33, 11 March 2008 (PDT)
