Fighting Style

Sarah is an audiophile; she enjoys tinkering with sound, manipulating and making it more enjoyable to listen to. She is always looking for the "new sound". Her enthusiasm for music is entrenched in her fighting style. She summons her Mixmaster console and uses her mind to mix in powerful tracks that have a profound effect on her combat ability.

Sarah and her sister, Saria, are special twins who, due to a rare phenomenon on their homeworld, were born as a single person, and then split into two separate people, making them closer twins than any two other twins could ever be. When they are faced with foes they cannot overcome apart, they can temporarily re-fuse into a single woman, combining both of their skills and psionic powers.

Techniques

Drop the Beat
Sarah and Saria came from one child at one point in time. As a tech action that expends a base charge of stamina from each character they preform a fusion till the end of the scene. When fused both characters add their PsiPLs together to determine the fused characters strength. The fused character also has access to both Sarah's and Saria's techs. At the end of the scene gains are distributed evenly to Sarah and Saria. Drop the Beat can only be used once per day.
Mixmaster
Sarah can use this item to project a mixing and mastering console at will, which she can play custom music through when, where, and how she pleases. Normally this would be a miniskill, but the item also permits her to mix in special, powered tracks that alter her psionic abilities so long as the track is playing. To start a track, she must use one slot with a tech action and 20% PsiPL stamina consumed. While the track is active, the slot stays busy and consumes 10% PsiPL stamina per post, but is not considered a tech action. Stopping a track, or switching between two tracks does cost a tech action with the slot and 20% PsiPL stamina. Multiple tracks run simultaneously require multiple slots. At creation, the Mixmaster can only mix one track at a time, but this can be upgraded. The following tracks come with it, which can also be added to or improved:
  • Pumpin' Bass - Causes all gimme telekinetic waves, rushes, and active defenses to strike with additional concussive force equal to its striking strength.
  • Free Scratchin' - Causes Sarah to move quickly and unpredictably. Increases autokinetic movement by 25% PsiPL, plus 50% PsiPL virtual speed.
  • Inspiration Station - Famous, inspirational quotes from pop culture celebrities across the galaxy made rhythmic, repetitive, and arranged in a stimulating sequence provide confidence for difficult moves. Techniques require 25% PsiPL less stamina, not to exceed half of what it would have originally cost. Techniques with a speed attribute have that speed increased by 25% PsiPL.
Off-beat
Sarah consumes two slots and produces a stylishly arrhythmic telekinetic sound wave, which travels at 50% PsiPL speed and strikes for 80% PsiPL damage. The visual effect leads the actual invisible wave by a short distance, causing a 25% PsiPL virtual speed bonus. If it strikes, the victim also takes a 25% PsiPL virtual speed penalty to all actions for the two following posts, which cannot reduce any action's virtual speed below what it would be without virtual speed bonuses.
