Do gains for those who fight against Nanoarmor-equipped characters come from the reduced PL or from the normal PL? I'm assuming the reduced, which is the "effective" PL of the character at the time. Tiryst 17:00, 11 February 2008 (PST)

As with multipliers, whichever is the more 'important' PL in the fight. If Nanoarmor gets activated right away, then of course it's going to dictate the PL for a good part of the fight. If Nanoarmour gets activated late in the game, though, it might be more appropriate to take gains from the true PL of the character, not the penalized PL. Hroefn T 15:25, 12 February 2008 (PST)
Yeah, the "whichever PL was used most of the fight" rule was what I was expecting, although I suppose my comment isn't entirely clear on that (my use of "effective" was a reference to this rule). Thanks for the clarification. Tiryst 15:33, 12 February 2008 (PST)
