Oh snap, I am reminded of this. For Acute Hearing, I am sure this is a no brainer but we might as well clarify now, just in case: hearing does not substitute eyesight, right? Unless the PhysPL template specifies it, a Mithra won't be able to move any faster than her(his) eyesight limits, correct?
For Quick Recovery, a Mithra's constitution is basically the same as a human's, so a typical human hospital will help them out?
Curiosity Killed the Cat: You can't really expect this to matter much because it relies on roleplay and you know no one pays attention to that! But I guess since it's a minor disadvantage it's not such a big deal.
Those are all the questions I have for now. -- Marcus
- Oh snap, I hadn't realized anyone had commented on this. To answer your questions though, hearing and eyesight can substitute one another, they just can't stack. 100% hearing + 100% eyesight doesn't equal a 200% movement speed cap. The purpose of the hearing PL in a combative sense is so that if they can't use their eyes effectively, they can still fight by listening for the movements of their opponents. It's an approvable concept, as a human c of mine had the exact same thing. Think it costed either 90 or 60 base days.
The Curiosity Killed the Cat thing is not a real disadvantage, just fluff, in the same way that an elf's infertility is listed as a disadvantage, but only in the capacity of flavoring any RP stuffs. Deeze
Normally I wouldn't be annoyed by this kind of thing since the Mithra aren't an IC priority for me, but they've been up here for quite a while and been looked at once, while a whole freakin' discussion has sprang up on the Magites after like one day. I'd like to get these gals approved and in play, plz. Deeze
