Appearance

Koshou is a rather diminuitive Saiyan, barely reaching four feet and nine inches even with the assistance of her rambunctious bale of thick, Saiyan hair. Her body is also rather trim and compact, and shows little muscle mass, belying her explosive power. An assortment of small and medium-sized scars pepper her body in every imaginable location, including places publicly inappropriate for show. Her tail persists, though it has become ratty and nearly bald in spots because of repeated attempts by foes to use it as a weakness, or to have it removed unwillingly for fear of the Oozaru threat. However, despite her overall slummy and downtrodden look, Koshou does not present herself with shame. She expects every person she meets to take her as she is, or else to go away.

Fighting Style

Koshou's scuffles usually involve heavy fisticuffs. She prides herself on studying Vegeta's fighting form more than anyone else, and uses it extensively to take her opponents off guard. Her years of anguish and suffering have gifted her with a unique control of her rage that seems to bypass the Super Saiyan mantle for something else completely. It usually manifests as flame; her ki is coated with it, her eyes flicker with it, and if you provoke her enough, her whole body will be consumed by it in an energy-flaring phenomenon known as White Hot.

However, her traditionalized fighting style leaves her lacking against alternative method fighters, such as mages and psions. Her solution to them is to simply outpower them, destroying them with speed and strength before they have a chance to take advantage of her weaknesses.

Biography

This section is to be expanded upon, later.

Koshou's life is the kind of sob story you might hear from a low-class Human 14-year-old, trying to earn some attention and pity from her peers. However, her's is both true and untold, for Koshou holes up her "failures" inside of her, accepting them as part of who she has become and then blindly moving on without so much as a haphazard's glance back.

She was born to a single mother, who was raped. At the age of six, her mother was killed in yet another gangbanging, and she was left to fend for herself. She ran rogue for a while, thieving from adults addled by the Saiyan equivalent of alcohol, and earned endless beatings from those who weren't quite as addled as she'd expected. Her fighting ability and physical attraction stagnated compared to the progress of some of her friends, and consequently, she was eventually expelled from her own social circle. Once again, she was left on her own, only now at the age of 15. With nothing to do, nowhere to go, and nobody that cared, Koshou took the popular path for errant youths and joined the Saiyan Army.

In the Army, she learned of the legendary Prince Vegeta, and a casual study into his fighting style turned into obsession, until Koshou was confident that she was about as close to Vegeta's style as she could possibly manage. She sparred often with her squadmates, and managed to win a few times, which was more encouraging than it sounds, since most of her squadmates were veterans of battle and a good mark stronger than her.

However, her "runt syndrome" caused her to never rise above the rank of Conscript. She was constantly under the boot of her merciless 1st Classman, who frequently punished her needlessly and made fun of her in front of her squad. Of course, it wasn't without retort, for now she wasn't the little victim anymore -- she played her own tricks on the 1st Classman, some of which almost managed to get him demoted. Because of the ongoing enmity between them, Koshou's superior managed to arrange for her to get transferred to an Outer Worlds Patrol, and through it, she was sent on a one-person tour of Earth. She was only to return when they contacted her again. They never did, and she never expected them to, especially once the Null tore all of reality to pieces. She has not seen her homeworld since that day.

Koshou proceeded to come to terms with the relatively stale and boring lifestyle of Earth. She was injured during a male opponent's reckless participation in a particular Tenkaichi Budoukai, which disabled her ability to reproduce. While the resident healer, Aethaen D'Argente, reconstructed her innards as though they were brand new, her mental mindset caused them to merely shrivel again. Since then, she has been turned off from most men (especially Human men), and instead, takes interest in women.

For a while, she lived in the wilderness, in a permanent camp, with a young halfbreed woman who had fallen in love with her. Koshou had tried to instill the meaning of independence in her, however, and she eventually left her Saiyan lover to find others of her fancy, with her renewed sense of self.

Koshou has since endeavored to return to her homeworld. She battled against the Shen'Ihr invaders on ARCHIE III during the Etiquette of Reform saga, in an effort to expedite her ability to leave the planet. Even now, an envoy is establishing a portal on New Vegeta, and Koshou has decided that she will be the first civillian to go through.
