Techniques

Armorcaller Mantle
Item. When activated with a magical natural charge and tech action, provides an additional 200% TotalPL durability in the form of a skintight energy barrier.
Activating the Mantle also activates a secondary function, which provides a "rune pool", which contains runic energy. This energy is generated passively every turn by the armor, by drawing a magical natural charge from the wearer's magical stamina and converting it to 2 "runes" equal in value to half that natural charge. The armor can initially store a maximum of 4 runes at a time, at which point the armor does not continue to generate runes. Rune generation is also entirely optional for any given post and does not require an action to turn on or off, once the Mantle is activated.
Each rune can be used to enhance the speed or total strength of all gimmes of either the wearer or any one Armor golem under her command by the magical charge rate, as a free action. Spells can also be boosted, in the same fashion. Multiple runes can be spent on a single entity.
Arcantrik Spear
Item. Shares wielder's durability. When fighting with this weapon, the controlling PLs are treated as though that character's MagicPL is added to them, spread equally over each, for the purposes of using it. Additional damage caused by the addition is considered energy. Stamina still drains and cap still checks from the controlling PLs only. If destroyed, Melanie can have it remade after 7 real days have passed, or at any time for the cost of 7 base days, so long as only one is in existence.
Arcantrik Engineer Corps
Minion package. They are dwarves, which share human stats. They have PhysPLs based on Ki, with a template as follows:
  • No Ki blasts, beams, aura explosion. No flight, no ki sense.
  • Cannot be sensed.
  • Bodily speed 40% instead of 50%.
  • Natural charge is 50% instead of 30%.
  • Unlike most minions, they can take up to 40 incap days.
Golemcraft (minion tech)
Creates, or contributes to an existing Armorgolem project. Adds natural charge to the Armorgolem's PL. Projects can be finished at any time. Armorgolems can have a maximum of 100% Melanie's TotalPL in PhysPL. They must be activated by a magical charge rate (or rune) of stamina and free action from Melanie before they can do anything, and last for the following 5 posts before shutting down and requiring another activation. If Melanie is rendered unconscious, all golems she has activated immediately deactivate. Armorgolems have the following default ki-based PhysPL, which may be modified on a per-golem basis by future elective upgrades to Golemcraft:
  • Senses as magic, and all energy produced by the golem is magic.
  • Has a cannon instead of one arm that can fire ki-like magic blasts
  • No beams, KAE, flight, energy sense
  • 40% Natural charge
  • After activating with a natural charge, body can ignore or mitigate natural charge worth of concussive force each turn.
  • 60% Speed
