Not bad so far. Just wanted to note that An-Yneaith itself still practices whatever the original An-Yneaith religion is (I never really defined that; we should collaborate on it some time), so the sentence about the religion fading from all other regions is somewhat erroneous.

Additionally, I can definitely see Westphalia and An-Yneaith getting along at least somewhat well (despite Westphalia, yknow, seceding) due to the religious ties and the fact that both nations try to be at least somewhat diplomatic if possible. Tiryst 17:48, 2 September 2006 (CDT)

Please view the Political Geography notes on the D'hennex Talk page and provide input concerning the map. Thank you. Tiryst 02:51, 12 September 2006 (CDT)

Is there anything else I need to add/remove for this to get approved?

I'm not really seeing anything major missing. For now I'm giving this the thumbs up; this obviously may change if Al or Ice or Dan bring up a good point about something I've overlooked.
Also, I took your religion section (the names and aspects, mainly) and changed them a little for An-Yneaith's religion. Since the two nations used to share a central religion I figured it would be logical that their pantheons are somewhat similar. However, since your intro sort of implies that Westphalia has a completely new religion, let me know if I've misinterpreted and I'll just change my stuff to something different. Conversely if you want me to change anything I could do that too. All the same I don't see anything wrong with what you wrote up.

I was driving by a dairy the other day, on delivery for Crusty's, and the sign for it named it, in large letters, WESTFALIA.

I laughed.

Finally read this. Pretty interesting, Marcus. Almost too ideal a nation for that continent... especially since Cardinal's supposed to be considered the fairest nation in the world, and this description of your nation makes them darn Northern Hemisphere folk look all corrupt and haughty >_> But, I'm sure conflict and corruption and interest will appear somewhere.
I just have two things to note. Firstly, I'm a little bugged by all the similarity in terms -- The leader is the Cardinal, there's a country named Cardinal, with its leader known as the Grand Cardinal... and then there's the Alaris Cathedral/Westphalia Cathedral thing. It's obvious that all of the above, similarly named things are different, but the nomenclature is a little awkward.
Lastly, I noticed that there's a general lack of population numbers for cities, and only very vague descriptions of the power-wielder makeup of the nation (mainly, their prevalence and bias toward one power type or another). It'd be nice to have these included.
All of the above are mostly minor issues, however, and I don't see much reason to bar approval of Westphalia.

Westphalia has a rabid hatred for necromancy and the undead. Whomever is even suspected of practicing such craft and is found within their borders is burned at the stake without a trial or anything. Aside from this while it professes friendly ties it still does employ the Apostle Circle to spy on their enemies when they can. I don't know if that makes things a bit better but there you go. :D Westphalia is far from being a perfect country, but I was kind of shooting for something a bit different than all the other regions that've already been drafted up for D'hennex, as in one that wasn't completely driven by selfishness of some sort.
I can make those other changes for you absolutely free (except for a small customs fee of course)!
Changes done. *expects cash monies* Me
