Fighting Style

Zann has made up his own style of martial arts, which makes extensive use of a pair of katar that he has named Sasuken. He twists, spins, and slashes, and while his opponents are preoccupied with his bodily movements, he exercises his mental powers, siezing and tripping up his opponents at close range before they can react.

Unfortunately, though he uses his spiritual and mental powers in unison, he has not achieved complete unity of mind, spirit, and body, and so he tends to fall behind other ki/psi mixes in his general power range -- a flaw which has cost him a great deal of business in the mercenary industry.

Biography

Growing up in the bad part of a metropolis that has historically been run by a multitude of shady individuals, Zann quickly learned a trade that was high in demand; that of the mercenary. He started out local and with petty offenders, roughing up those who offended his clients. He then worked his way up to the bigger problems, as he perfected his fighting style and improved his personal class. Soon, he was dealing with clients all over the world. He soon began to grow a conscience, and so started deliberately looking to help good people in need of a bodyguard, and other similar situations, though these were difficult to find. In hardly any time at all, he was working against his old clients by protecting the same people he would have had to rough up, before, and when recognition was cast about, Zann lost all metropolitan credibility, causing business to fall into a steep decline.

In an effort to further his career by enhancing his skills, he travelled to the Neo Kame dojo, where he unwittingly met Raimei Roshi-ni, but was turned away when he refused to accept the boy prodigy as his mentor. He fanned out his business to the outlying countrysides, hunting bandits and bounties who fled from more law-controlled areas. Eventually, he ran into Chadisekhar at a Tenkaichi Budoukai, and her flirtatious personality quickly pulled the two of them into a steamy, if short-lived relationship. She would ultimately choose Cesto Sphalerite above him.

Zann briefly fought against the Chorus during the Etiquette of Reform saga, hired on by clients who were frantic to hurl as many power wielders at the problem as possible. The experience improved his abilities markedly.

The Cardinal Power Wielder Act has kept Zann to outlying cities and counties, and thus, his name is generally unknown today.
