Appearance

Delano has the appearance of a professional man. He is rarely seen in public without being formally dressed. He commonly eschews a suit jacket, but otherwise wears formal business attire -- however, he wears his dark hair down almost to his shoulders, detracting somewhat from his professional appearance. He wears sunglasses often, and also carries a psionically-occluded briefcase from time to time.

Powers

Delano is a psion with a range of powers, but his most formidable assets is the significant advantages he has over the average psion with his gimme abilities. He has spent a significant amount of time stressing and training his basic abilities to their utmost, resulting in improved defenses, senses, movement speed, and an expanded Sphere of Influence over his comrades. He also has the more common ability to use a fourth slot.

Besides that, Delano has also demonstrated the ability to teleport, and to conceal his psionic power signature.

As a member of the Psionic Militia, Delano has been trained in how to use the magical items produced by Alothin.

Biography

Delano Sauvage was, for a few years, a low-level psionic, working in several divisions of Empirical Industries. He spent some time in Empirical Robotics, working with Quality Assurance, carefully examining product before shipping, to ensure it met Empirical's high quality standards. This experience had him reassigned to Empirical Aeronautics temporarily, during the construction of EIS-4, in order to ensure that the entire station was properly constructed, and that there were absolutely no flaws that would later cause a loss of atmosphere. He's also spent time with Empirical Networks, guarding the portal facilities as needed. His psionic skills there came in handy in controlling mortal activity, primarily, as they permitted him to detect possible flare-ups between clients before they escalated into tense situations.

More lately, however, some stimuli has caused his power to blossom more fully, into a higher grade of psionic power. After a rigorous course of study, training, and evaluation, he was deemed suitable for transfer to the Psionic Militia -- Empirical Security, 5th Division, Specialists, as it's more formally known. During this training, he met Alothin, and a number of the acolytes the Order mage had trained in Order magic. From them, he learned of the philosophies of Order that Alothin advocated, and became a student of the philosophy. While he cannot sense Order directly in the way that Alothin, as an Order Focus can, he believes in the principles of Order nonetheless, and sees being a member of the Psionic Militia as a way to maintain Order.
