Appearance

TazmireAlt04.jpg

Tazmire would be an unassuming and average looking young man, if not for the runic markings upon the left side of his face. He stands at a bit over 5 foot 9, and has black hair and brown eyes. His clothing choices are rather sedate and unassuming too. T-shirts and slacks are his prefered mode of dress, and the fanciest he'll get (despite his girlfriend December's efforts) is a suit and tie.

Powers

Tazmire's powers are magical in nature, and are almost entirely focused upon the manipulation of ice and water. A few of his non-elemental efforts have been towards time manipulation. He does have a fairly wide-ranging knowledge of basic magery as well, and is a well-read young mage. He's a bookworm, and brimming with much arcane knowledge.

Biography

Tazmire grew up a fairly average, if geekish young man. While he always seemed to have cold hands, and his ice cream never seemed to melt even on the hottest of days, he exhibited no special powers or tendancies. He proceeded through high school, making above average grades and preparing himself for university... and then a distant eccentric uncle passed on, and left a chest of random arcane bric-a-brac to him.

Although initially dismayed that his inheritance wasn't anything particularly valuable, Tazmire began to read through the moldy old tomes and pick through the bits and baubles that the chest contained. The books contained an assortment of magical knowledge, ranging from the most basic to encoded and advanced. It all seemed patently foolish to Tazmire, but hey, there was a long hot summer break to use up, and he was sure he could handle the stuff about turning water to ice. So he tried it... and accidentally froze all the pipes in the house solid, along with the glass of water that he had been attempting to transform. The grounding and garnishing of his allowance didn't deter Tazmire; A new purpose in life had found him.

His final year of high school was a near washout. He barely passed his classes, instead caring to focus every waking moment on sorcery and spellcraft. He studied the books and notes left to him by his uncle, and began making notations and variations of his own. As the summer drew to a close, and his parents grew more and more agitated and irritated with him, Tazmire realized that he'd have to seek further training. Not only were his books a limited educational resource, mom and dad were going to start asking for rent. Or perhaps they'd simply kick his obsessed behind to the curb. So he beat them to it, packed his bags, and set out to find himself a teacher at the age of 17. As of yet, he has not renewed contact with them.

His first significant encounter was with a necromancer by the name of Miyamoto. While Tazmire didn't have much taste for the dark arts, the promise of a library and apprenticeship tempted him considerably. He signed on and moved into the dark magician's tower, and did his very best to get used to zombies and shambling skeletons. It was not long after that Miyamoto introduced him to Atyhtan Ator, and then found himself involved in a complex plot involving stealing a spaceship, flying to New Namek, and attempting to obtain some Dragonballs for a nefarious purpose. He mostly recalls the experience as one of sleep deprivation, nosebleeds, and poor decision making, and tries not to speak of it if it can be helped.

Upon his return to Earth, he found himself questioning the benefits provided to him by his current employers. Parting ways with them on reasonably pleasant terms, he roamed freely for several months before encountering Johan Fahst at the 2003 Tenkaichi Budoukai. The infernalist and the elementalist hit it off immediately, and Tazmire found himself in Fahst's employ as an assistant. The pay was reasonable, the work interesting, and the arcane resources that Fahst provided to him weren't half-bad, either. Tazmire's magical skills grew considerably.

While Tazmire initially considered himself far more a scholar than a fighter, circumstances have often placed him in battle. He has made it a personal mission to eliminate the Lich Ashkadros, and was also of much assistance in the defense and re-taking of ARCHIE III, during the Shen'Ihr invasion. Far more confident in his abilities than ever before, Tazmire is more than willing to play the role of a hero, if need be.

At present, he continues to live at Fahst's mansion, and pursue his studies and goals. He has recently been accepted into the Cabal of Seasons, and has taken on the moniker of Enduring Storm.
